Automic’s DevOps Map and guide

DevOps has many tools, belief systems, processes and methodologies.  Automic, owned by CA Technologies, provides a Tube map of various devops categories and associated tools.  It can be useful as a guide to understand related concepts and technologies.  Management can trace along the lines and find competing tool sets and platforms which should resolve certain use cases and technological issues.

It is unclear what the lines mean. For example the black line on Cloud/IaaS starts with Skytap (?) and ends with CloudFoundry.  Why and what does that mean?  The Purple line is termed ‘middleware’ but Mulesoft and Spring do not make an appearance.  Why?

As would be expected many CA and Automic toolsets are presented.
