AWS migration video – tools and testing processes

There are 5 basic phases in moving assets to AWS which will be developed iteratively, and cyclically to generate a new business process.

  1. Opportunity & Evaluation
  2. Portfolio Discovery and Planning
  3. Application Design
  4. Migration & Validation
  5. Operate & Optimise

Importantly, you need to discover your estate and dependencies using AWS Discovery Service, use tool kits to automate the migration process; and use automation to test the migration process in situ.
